With the cross country team off this weekend and the first of three consecutive home football games it was time to have a little fun as a team. My two outstanding assistants, Burke Bockman and Tapio Kuusela (with some help from our sport administrator, Zack Lassiter) organized a team tailgate party prior to our FB game vs Air Force. We had a great spot next to "Utah Village" (games, food, general students, and pre game radio show). Check out a few pics from the event above.
The top picture is freshman Angie Kaplar show off her prize from an outstanding performance at the FB skills booth. The third picture is the track staff with U of U Legend, Manny Hendricks. Manny works in our student athlete support/services office. He played basketball for Utah and then went on to play several years for the Dallas Cowboys in the NFL before returning to his beloved alma mater.
